JotForm can help fight a common challenge -- phony email addresses. Many people complete a form with a random or fake email address because they want to avoid unwanted email. But you need a legitimate email to keep customers up-to-date about orders or important product news.

Set Up an Email Verification in 3 Steps JotForm can help fight a common challenge -- phony email addresses. Many people complete a form with a random or fake email address because they want to avoid unwanted email. But you need a legitimate email to keep customers up-to-date about orders or important product news. JotForm provides Apps and Widgets that help you verify email addresses. Here's how you do it using our Email Validator widget: Step 1: Open your form and add the "Email Validator" Widget. It will insert a field for your customer's email. Step 2: Customize the email's subject line, sender and message. Step 3: When a user includes an email address, and clicks "Verify Email", a verification email is sent. It includes a unique code that is valid for 24 hours, and it can be used only once. An email addresses will only be accepted once the verification code is entered to confirmation area and "Confirm" button is clicked.
